Regional At Best: The Lost Album

Twenty One Pilots have six studio albums. But, if you look at the official, public releases, it looks like there are only five. That's because their second album, Regional At Best, exists in this weird void where it's kinda not a thing but also is.
The first Twenty One Pilots album (the self-titled one) and Regional At Best were pretty much exclusively made to be material to play and sell at shows. Around the time they released Regional At Best, they signed with the record label Fueled By Ramen, who was giving them a deal for a major label debut. Between the time they released Regional At Best and the time they were preparing for their major label debut (which ended up being their third album, Vessel), they had written several more songs. Fueled By Ramen asked them if they wanted to release Regional At Best with them as-is and remaster it or work on something else, and Twenty One Pilots came to the decision that they wanted to use the new songs they'd written, so they opted to pull several songs off of Regional At Best and remake them and include them with the new songs they wrote for the new album.
So Vessel is essentially a mix of redone songs that were on Regional At Best and some new songs. Regional At Best as a result kinda became a ghost that fell out of print, still being available in some places but not being treated as an official album. You can listen to the whole thing on YouTube, and someone uploaded all the non-remade-for-Vessel Regional At Best songs on Spotify.
So, let's go through the Regional At Best tracklist:

1. "Guns For Hands" - Remade for Vessel
2. "Holding On To You" - Remade for Vessel
3. "Ode To Sleep" - Remade for Vessel
4. "Slowtown" - Scrapped
5. "Car Radio" - Remade for Vessel
6. "Forest" - Scrapped
7. "Glowing Eyes" - Scrapped
8. "Kitchen Sink" - Scrapped
9. "Anathema" - Scrapped
10. "Lovely" - Scrapped
11. "Ruby" - Scrapped
12. "Trees" - Remade for Vessel
13. "Be Concerned" - Scrapped
14. "Clear" - Scrapped
15. "House of Gold" - Remade for Vessel
16. "Two" - Scrapped

So as you can see, only six Regional At Best songs survived the snap and made it onto Vessel. And it's kinda a shame, because IMO "Forest" and "Kitchen Sink" are two of their best songs ever.
As I said, the scrapped songs are still available with a quick internet search, hence how I'm able to know and love those two songs I just mentioned. The other scrapped songs are good too but those two are my favorites. And maybe they still play them live - I think I remember hearing a YouTuber say they still play "Forest" sometimes.
I will admit that the reworked songs do sound better on Vessel, but if you ignore Regional At Best, you are ignoring ten whole Twenty One Pilots songs, some of which are some of their best work.
