Episode 2: Thanksgiving Special

      Oddly enough, I started saving the world just in time for the second episode to air around Thanksgiving. So why not do a Thanksgiving Special? I could go on about the stereotypical things everyone says they're thankful for: family, friends, car, house, job, etc. But I'm gonna do something different.

   These days, especially in America, we're so divided. Family members will unfriend you on social media because you voted for the donkey instead of the elephant, or the elephant instead of the donkey. People will want to exclude you from social gatherings because you got the vaccine. But, there's hope! Even in the midst of all this crap, there are many things, little things, that we can all agree that we're thankful for. So I compiled a list!

-Going to a movie and there's no strangers next to you

-Cool, cloudy weather

-After-credits scenes

-Drinking the milk after having cereal

-People who let you switch lanes in front of them

-People saying "bless you" every time you sneeze

-Sound machines

-Charity streams

-Bands that get better over time instead of worse

-Good series finales of tv shows

-Realizing your hiccups are gone

-A hot shower after a cold day

-Flipping your pillow over

-Friendly ends of arguments

-Getting liked on a dating site

-A celebrity interacting with you on Twitter

-Charlie Cox might be playing Daredevil again
-Daredevil was a show that happened

-Getting gas and having the price stop at a number ending in 0

-Having the tv volume at an even number or a multiple of five

-Harmless pranks

  In like eighth grade, I became obsessed with the band fun.. In my quest of listening to all their music, I found they did a song called "C'mon", which was a collab with some band called Panic! At The Disco. I thought the singer guy from this band sounded pretty good, and then I found out that my best friend at the time loved Panic! At The Disco. Tours Through Discographies: Bleachers

   Back when I was obsessed with fun., I was pleasantly surprised when member Jack Antonoff announced his side project, Bleachers. It was really cool to hear one of the two non-Nate members of fun. sing, and he's quite good at it.    Bleachers is still going strong all these years later. And now it's even grown to being a full band of which Jack Antonoff is the lead singer. 1. Strange Desire (2014)     This album came out while fun. was on their way out, and in the succeeding years it was cool to pretend this album was fun.'s third album, but they just had Jack sing instead of Nate. Now, it stands on its own as the brilliant beginning of something that became bigger than fun. was. This is my favorite album by them; it was an excellent debut. There's a certain energy and style to this album that was reminiscent enough of fun. while also being unique enough to show everyone that Jack had more in store.
